*A PERFECT DAY*

Finally, for all who have waited patiently here are the images of Sarah and Joseph's amazing wedding. It was also a very special day for me since the bride is my youngest sister. Needless to say, I was double excited. Shortly before the ceremony my knees were actually little shaky.
Sarah & Joseph's wedding day turned out to be a dream. They had planned their big day from abroad and every little detail they worked so hard for came together this day and made it a truly memorable event.

We started early with getting ready. Our oldest sister Desiree did Sarah's make-up and hair in a beautiful classic updo:

Desiree, sister, matron of honor, genius:

Stunningly beautiful.. our little sister on her wedding day

Ahh, she looks so cute here

Sarah's amazing details:

A classic wedding gown

On the balcony of the San Lawrenz Resort, Gozo

Princess with an attitude. Sarah rocked to 50 cents "In Da Club". No sign of nervousness!

Our beautiful mother

Little angel

Our dad was so proud.. just look at him!

An emotional moment during the Ave Maria. Joseph waiting to see his bride. Can you feel it?

This awesome image was taken by my second shooter Mark. That's exactly how I envisioned it.

And this was my view

Beautiful shot of the ceremony at Ta' Pinu Church:

During the ceremony:

The mass was very personal and emotional, especially for the parents:

Happily walking up the aisle. Love this photo:

I love this image that we took as a series right after the ceremony. A quiet and serene moment between the couple.

Look at the handsome groom, doesn't he look like a movie star?!

The equally gorgeous bride (I call her principessa)

Another short moment in front of the church

The party took place at the "one and only" Ta Frenc Restaurant

They are so in love and it shows. Their first dance.

One last detail:

International House World Organisation

A few months ago I had the opportunity to work for the International House World Organization which hosted this years Conference in Gozo. Around 90 delegates from around the world traveled to Malta to reconnected in their annual workshops and discuss new happening in the industry of "study a language abroad". It was a great experience for me to get to know the people behind IHWO. The whole event was so well organized and it felt as if everyone knew each other for years. But this is basically the smart concept behind the IHWO experience: everything works on a personal level.
If you have ever wondered what Malta looks like then you are about to get a great overview of Gozo and Malta's beauty and culture.

This is the amazing view of my hotel room at the Calypso at Marsalforn Bay. IHWO really spoiled me!

The first evening we visited an incredible place that is managed by Joseph Spiteri, a man with a dream. He is one of the first to introduce agro-tourism to Malta. We had a wonderful walk around his vineyards:

Look at this view:

Joseph is a visionary, when he is speaking you just have to listen... truly inspiring!

Joseph's team organised a night that none of the delegates will forget that easily. Everything was to perfection but also very laid back and characteristically Mediterranean.

The next morning the delegates headed to the Kempinski San Lawrenz Hotel where the workshops were held.

But working seemed quite fun

For agents without appointments Jeep Tours were organized:

First stop at the Azure Window, Dwejra. When Anya travels she takes her mascot with her to photograph it at incredible sights:

At the Citadel, an old city on top of a hill surrounded by high walls and right in the center of Gozo, Victoria.
Another view from above:
Little streets... isn't the lime stone just fascinating?

Near the sea: more lime stone formations washed out by the salt water

Our guide and tour organiser of Gozo Jeep Tours. Eddie Vella is another special person with great ideas for Gozo.

A stop by the traditional craft village

In the evening we were treated to a Maltese folk night at Marsalforn's sea front

Time to say good bye to Gozo:

The last night was celebrated at the new International House in Swieqi Malta. IHWO's wonderful 13th workshop host, Corinne Xuereb is applauded by Malta's Minister for Tourism and Culture, Francis Zammit Dimech.

Congratulations to IHWO, Corinne Xuereb and her team for organizing a truly successful and memorable event. Thank you for having me on your team and all the best with your new school!
Also, a big Hello to Graham who I got to know at the event and who made this an extraordinary experience for me. Thanks for all your help and support!
