Back in Town

I just flew in to Berlin. Ah, how nice it is to be in THE City again! I think I missed it a bit, after all it's my home town. Weather wasn't so bad... warm and a little sticky since it's humid and rainy but still very warm. Maybe too warm for this time of year but now I'm used to the Maltese weather anyway so I love heat!
I'll be just staying for a few days here and then I'll be flying on to Stuttgart to shoot a wedding coming Saturday. I'm quite excited since the couple had me flying out all the way from Malta to have me shoot their big day.
If anyone needs to get in touch with me please use my little mailbox on the side bar and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
In the meantime, dear friends call me up - I'm back in town! Yeah.

Amazing Eyes

I had the most fantastic photoshoot the other week: rocking locations, soft and sweet light and yeah wait until you have seen Justine's eyes. They are so amazing! I think this must be one of my longest image posts ever, I just couldn't decide on my favorites. Here are a "few", hope you enjoy!

I only see eyes...

I like it in color... but...

this image just has to be a black and white! Amazing!

I love this location, gives a nice edgy background.

So summery!

And Justine is like a soft breeze of summer air!

Another b&w I couldn't resist posting. Even without color Justine's eyes are beaming!

Isn't that so cute... well and sexy!

Haha, the hat. Justine admitted she didn't like her hat but it came out GREAT on the images! reminds me somehow of summer, beach, Bacardi commercial.

One of my more artsy ones.. and one of my absolute favorites. It's different. It has Attitude!

Last one, like the crop and negative space. Will turn into my art images. Thanks Justine, you were truly inspiring!

Working Holiday in Gozo

Hi everybody,

sorry if you haven't seen me around much lately but I am sooooo busy!!! I am in the midst of one of the busiest periods right now and trying to juggle a couple of projects at the same time. I just wanted to let you know that new stuff is coming up! I had the most fantastic photoshoot the other weekend... wow.. I only say "eyes, eyes, eyes!!!" Tomorrow I'll be off to Gozo and busy shooting the huge 13th International House Conference at the Kempinski San Lawrence Hotel. That's going to be so much fun. The organizers planned jeep tours, agro tourism, eg. wine tasting, a night around town. As soon as I return home I have 2 ESF projects waiting for me and a week later I'll be flying out of the country for a wedding! Well, and after that... weddings, weddings, weddings. What a ride! Hope I have time to breathe!

Tree 4U

Today, I had the opportunity to witness and capture the Tree For You (34U) campaign, an initiative to create more woodland for the Maltese environment. In the coming years more than 10,000 trees will be planted in parks across the island. I think that is such a great idea! Of course, a big thanks goes out to the sponsors who support the campaign and contribute to a healthier environment.
The day started out with lots of sunshine, a blue sky with some puffy clouds.

I headed to one of the parks that is at Kennedy Grove near Salina Bay. The Enemalta Corporation planted 30 trees in celebration of their 30th year in operation.
Sorry, I cannot post any images of person but here are some images that at least give an idea about the campaign.
The trees were all planted by Enemalta employees. 30 individuals actually planted the trees with their own hands. Well, that little dirt is really worth it for the good cause. And there was a definite satisfaction and happiness across the staff's faces.
It'll take a while but it's a fantastic beginning!
As far as I know, the park is open for public. Have a look around next time you are there!

A thank goes out to my fellow professional Mark Cassar who hooked me up for the shoot with Nicky from MAS Communications. These are the guys from the awesome HOMEWORKS Magazine.
A even bigger thanks goes out to Mark Vassallo for assisting me today!
